Grok Bot use case

React with a Slack emoji to hand a thread to your bot

Useful Slack threads get buried, and copying them into a chat window every time is slow.

How to do it

  1. In Slack, create a custom emoji (for example :grok:) if you want a clear signal.
  2. Tell your Grok Bot to watch for that reaction on any thread and, within about 30 minutes, read the thread and either add it to an agenda, log a ticket or draft your reply.
  3. When a thread matters, react with that emoji and let the routine run.
  4. Approve any draft replies before they are sent.
