AI use case
Answer Google reviews and update your hours by chatting with Gemini
Unanswered reviews and out-of-date holiday hours make a small business look closed or careless, but logging in to fix them keeps slipping down the list.
How to do it
- Go to gemini.google.com and sign in with the personal Google account you use for your Business Profile (it needs to be the only verified profile you manage).
- Ask a question about your business, for example "how many new reviews did we get this month?" If Gemini offers to connect Google Business Profile, follow the prompts. Adding @Google Business Profile to your message helps if it doesn't.
- Ask it to draft replies to your newest reviews, and read every draft before anything goes up, especially replies to unhappy customers.
- Ask it to set special hours for an upcoming holiday or to sum up what customers mention most in your reviews.
- Google Business Profile Help says Gemini can draft review replies, update hours and contact info, create posts and summarize feedback themes once the profile is connected.
