Seven Grok Bot use cases, ranked by risk
Continuum looks at seven things people tried with Grok Bot in its first weeks, from inbox triage to sales research, and runs each through two tests: is it safe when every bot shares the same logins, and is it OK that a test run does real work? Their rule of thumb: jobs that read and report are good bets, while jobs that send, pay or edit records should wait. Continuum sells a separate coding tool, which it mentions in the guide.
How to set it up
- Read the ranked table at the end to see which jobs pass both tests.
- Start with a read-only job, like a morning research digest or pulling numbers from a website that has no API.
- Have the routine write to a document you own so you keep your own record.
- For email, let the bot summarize, label and draft, but never send on its own.
- If several bots share a group chat, tell them clearly when to stop.
