Pip the Weather Gremlin: funny forecasts and real storm alerts
@SilentSt0rmX published Pip, a Grok Bot marketplace template that wakes you with a joke and a three-line forecast for your town using free National Weather Service data. It stays quiet until serious weather threatens your county, then sends alerts with maps and radar, checks more often as a storm nears and sends an all-clear afterward.
How to set it up
- Find Pip the Weather Gremlin in the Grok Bot marketplace and import it.
- Give it your zip code.
- Get a short morning forecast each day.
- Watch for its alerts when severe weather is headed your way, and ask it weather questions anytime.
