Meetups: local events matched to your interests

@1280MHz shares a Meetups bot template that finds nearby in-person events matching your interests and drive radius, pings you ahead of time and before RSVP deadlines, and never RSVPs without your yes. The author says they used it to find a local manufacturer's open house.

How to set it up

  1. Open the template link and add Meetups to Grok Bot.
  2. Tell it your interests and how far you're willing to drive.
  3. Let it watch for matching events and ping you a few days ahead.
  4. Approve any RSVP yourself before it signs you up.
