Keep Grok Bot up to date on a Chromebook

@WizZifnab says Grok Bot on a Chromebook may not update itself to newer versions. Their fix: ask Grok Bot to walk you through a small recurring check in the Chromebook's Linux side, so the app updates on its own whenever Linux is running.

How to set it up

  1. Make sure Linux is turned on in your Chromebook settings.
  2. Ask Grok Bot to help you set up a recurring automatic update check for the Grok Bot app in Linux.
  3. Paste the couple of commands it gives you into the Linux terminal, reading each one first.
  4. Leave Linux running while you use Grok Bot, and the timer will check for updates from time to time.
