Chief of staff bot: a 10-step build from draft to routine

A detailed BizHacker walkthrough for turning one Grok Bot into a lasting chief of staff: write standing rules into its profile, run a weekly ops brief by hand in draft-only mode until it is reliable, save that as a skill, then schedule it as a routine. It adds one specialist bot only when there is a real handoff, plus a short Friday review.

How to set it up

  1. Create one bot and put its job and limits in Edit Profile, for example: never send, publish or pay without approval, and never invent numbers.
  2. Ask it for a draft weekly ops brief from your calendar and priorities, and fix it until you would actually use it.
  3. Ask it to save that process as a skill, including what to do when a source is missing.
  4. Schedule the skill as a weekly routine with your time zone set and no outside messages.
  5. Each Friday, review what helped and move lasting fixes into the bot's profile.
