Grok Bot Setup

Build a five-bot social media team with a review sheet

Patrick Schaber walks through the Grok Bot team he built to grow on X and Threads: a chief of staff bot, a daily assistant, and a five-bot social team with a lead, a researcher, a designer working in Canva, a writer and a process tracker. Drafts land in a Google Sheet for him to edit, and only posts he marks Ready get scheduled.

How to set it up

  1. Create a chief of staff bot first to plan new teams and hold the rules every bot must follow.
  2. With it, plan a small team with one clear job per bot (research, graphics, writing, tracking) and one lead you talk to.
  3. Have the team put each week's post drafts and image links in a Google Sheet.
  4. Edit each draft yourself and mark it Ready; the lead schedules only Ready rows in your posting tool (he uses Postiz).
  5. Add a daily morning routine that finds posts worth engaging with, and write your own replies.
