Grok Bot Setup

A solopreneur's eight-bot team with one chief of staff

Justin Butlion runs his one-person business with eight role-based bots under a chief of staff that hands out work, passes on his house rules and puts together his reports. He sets clear ownership rules: only the designer bot makes images, and only two bots may use Stripe. One weekly-review group chat brings the CMO, CFO and analyst together every Monday, and he corrects the bots there so the next week's report improves. The last sections of the post are for paid subscribers only.

How to set it up

  1. Start with a chief of staff, then add one specialist at a time as you connect the tools it needs.
  2. Name bots by role and write down which bot owns which tool or kind of work.
  3. Use one group chat for a recurring review, and correct mistakes there so every bot sees the fix.
  4. Keep strategies, SOPs and FAQs in a connected docs tool so the bots have a shared knowledge base.
